Kamaole Nalu Resort is nestled between the renowned Kamaole I and Kamaole II Beaches. The grounds offer a large, oceanfront grassy area with scenic views, 2 gas BBQ grills, lounge chairs, tables, and a pool. An ideal place to relax, sunbathe, look for turtles or whales (in season Nov-May), or watch the sunset. With direct beach access to two of South Maui's stunning, family-friendly beaches and a convenient location in Kihei near restaurants and shops, Kamaole Nalu is a superior choice for a vacation.
Kamaole Nalu is a six-story building. This unit, #403, is located on the 4th floor, accessible by stairs or an elevator. The resort's oceanfront location supplies a gentle breeze and the calming sound of the waves.
Beach toys, (boogie boards, snorkel gear, etc.) are NOT provided but are available for rent or purchase nearby. If previous guests leave these items behind, they are available for your use, at your own risk.
Check-in is 4 PM and check-out is 11 AM. Luggage storage is not available.
If your flight arrives before noon or your departure flight leaves after noon, we suggest you purchase an additional night for your convenience.
We strongly suggest You purchase travel insurance to protect your vacation investment.
NEIGHBOURHOOD
Kihei is a relaxed and diverse community with many residents. Kamaole Nalu is conveniently located with several restaurants, coffee shops, stores, nail and massage services, beach rentals, and activities just across the street or within a short walking distance. Condos are the majority of rental accommodations in Kihei. The larger resorts are located in Wailea to the south and Lahaina & Kaanapali to the north.
Getting around
If guests are content to stay in Kihei, there is no need to rent a car. There are shuttles and Uber from the airport. Once in Kihei, many shops, restaurants, and activities are within walking distance. If you don't feel like walking, there are bicycle, moped, and car rentals as well as local shuttles and the Maui bus.

View is better than the photos show. Small complex, just 36 units so never felt crowded. Neighboring buildings use the BBQs (probably not suppose to but the BBQs were the busiest). Apartment had everything we needed (we left noodles for the next people as there were not any flotation devices). The white part under the microwave is also a drawer (measuring spoons are there if you need them). Room has a kureg or French press. Read instructions as appliances can be tricky but instructions are clear. Anyhow we loved the location, property, unit and view. Would absolutely stay there again or with Maui roost again!

Wonderful place. We'd definitely stay there again. Our original AirBnb got cancelled and I was able to reserve this one, it was so much better with the beautiful lanai and the gorgeous views of the ocean. We loved waking up to to coffee on the lanai each morning. The beach access is wonderful, no need to cross a street. The condo is completely updated & modern. Had everything we could possible need and more. Enjoy.
