Kihei is a relaxed and diverse community with many local residents. Condos are the major accommodations here. The larger resorts are located in Wailea to the south and Lahaina & Kaanapali to the north. The beach is uncrowded and quiet. The ocean in front of the condo and one of the beaches is enclosed by a stone “breakwater”, which is a rebuilding of a historic Hawaiian fish pond. It creates a calm ocean swim that’s perfect for relaxing the day away. Protected sandy beach ideal for children and beginning snorkelers. There is a colony of sea turtles live 200 meters in front of the condo
If guests are content to stay in Kihei, there is no need to rent a car. There are shuttles and Uber from the airport. Once in Kihei, there are bicycle, moped and car rentals as well as local shuttles and the Maui bus ($1-2).

This Condo has the best view on the island, clean, comfortable, Linens were wonderful. Kitchen had everything we needed, they had coolers, Umbrellas, beach chairs, sand toys. The pool was clean and Plenty of chairs. We were located in the middle of everything, food, dining, stores, etc. We could watch the turtles from our Lani, Host was awesome. easy access to condo. We will be back soon.

Amazing view and great location. It was a the perfect place to come back to and relax. Lots of creeks and random noises throughout the place, but it didn’t really bother us, we figured the building itself was older. We really enjoyed our stay.

One of the most beautiful views you'll ever have! Every morning 20-30 large Sea Turtles were resting on the beach and rocks, amazing! Spent most of the time on the balcony with that view!

We enjoyed our stay and had no problems with pests of any kind. The place is a little outdated and the a/c makes a loud noise every so often but the view from the lanai made up for everything. So beautiful! We even saw turtles and a couple seals! We would stay here again!

We loved staying here. It was well appointed with everything we needed including beach chairs, towels, coolers, ice packs, an umbrella that helped keep us in the shade, everything we needed in the kitchen to cook all our breakfast and lunches at home. The lanai overlooking the ocean was a perfect spot to drink coffee in the mornings and watch the sunset in the evenings. And the beach access was super easy! We would definitely stay here again!

Our stay was excellent! The price was a primary factor in choosing to stay here, but we never felt like we made any compromises vs a higher priced condo.
Great location, beautiful views, great amenities, and a good amount of “starter” supplies. Even a pair of binoculars we used to watch the turtles every morning on the beach.
Before arriving, I was concerned about the AC as I love to sleep cold. We had no issues using the bedroom fan and the screened back door at night. We actually never ran the AC unit as we were only home in the morning and evenings.
The only negative is the condo unit has tight parking spaces, and seemingly not many good parking jobs; this is beyond Maui Roost’s control, but worth a call out.
Any time we come back through Maui / Kihei, we will book this place again.

The views are exactly what the pictures show, and we sat outside every morning for breakfast just taking in the view. We found it to be in a great location for us just outside of Kihei, not busy in the area but a 10 min drive to a few great beaches and restaurants. We loved it and wished didn't have leave.

I spent 3 nights at this Airbnb and everything was great! the location is unbeatable and the unit is literally right on the ocean. the unit itself was clean and comfortable, although pretty dated, but we spent as much time outside as possible. the beach being steps from the unit was a big highlight and we got to see sea turtles on the rocks everyday we were there!

Great place i highly recommended you stay here. The view is perfect, right next to town so everything is 5 min or less away, but also far enough away to have a quite sanctuary. I don't know if this is typical but wile we were there their were 5-6 turtles right in the lagoon the whole week. Awesomeness!

Such an great place in such a perfect location for everything you could ask for. Waking up to the turtles along the rock wall was phenomenal. The amenities were great too and exactly as explained. There was a minor mishap with our parking pass but it was handled swiftly by the Maui Roost office and taken care of! Definitely will stay again.
